The Symphony of Peace Prayers (SOPP) is an annualinter-religious and inter-spiritual public ceremony that is open for all. On this day (usually the third Sunday of May) we honor and give gratitude to the beautiful peace prayersfrom different faith traditions (Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, etc.) in order to create and spread a wave of peace, harmony, light and love to all corners of the Earth, and to elevate the consciousness of all humanity, so that peace may be realized as soon as possible.
Aside from the interfaith peace prayer service, the event engages the public in the World Peace Prayer Ceremony whereby peace is prayed for all the nations as the name of each country in the world is called and its national flag is waved.
Since 2005, the main SOPP has been held at the Fuji Sanctuary in Japan hosted by the Byakko Shinko Kai (seewww.byakkoblog.typepad.com/sopp/).
Now -- more than ever-- is the time when each of us needs to become aware of the profound relationship that exists between our thought vibrations and the health and stability of the Earth.
To revive our ailing planet, each of us needs to infuse the earth with healing energy of our deep gratitude for all the earth's blessings... .
